Overview
To maintain transparency and help facilities avoid potential conflicts of interest, Medely automatically adds any facility Point of Contact (POC) who also holds an active professional account on the Medely platform to that facility’s Do Not Send (DNS) list.
This measure supports your organization’s internal employment and staffing policies while ensuring Medely remains a neutral, third-party platform.
Why This Policy Exists
Some facilities have internal policies that restrict their salaried employees or administrators from also working shifts at the facilities they manage. Holding both a facility and professional account could create a potential or perceived conflict of interest, for example:
Access to internal rate or scheduling information
Ability to view or influence shift postings
Overlap between administrative and contracting roles
Adding these users to the DNS list helps prevent this overlap and supports compliance with your organization’s policies.
Facility Action
Please continue to closely review all shifts and invoices to ensure accuracy for each professional. If you identify any discrepancies, notify your Account Manager and submit a dispute as soon as possible so our Trust & Safety team can review.
If you wish to remove this individual from the DNS list, written authorization must be provided by a separate facility billing administrator.
Once received, Medely will review and process the removal request accordingly.
